From the Archives: Line Brew, Kazakhstan

Square

While working at Creneau International Atmosphere Architects, I assisted in the early stages of designing a new beer label for a brewery in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Working with the other 2D designers, we researched the history and culture of Kazakhstan. Above are two label concepts that I came up with.
Below is the final Line Brew logo as it appears on the label and company website. The logo still features some of our early ideas, including the Kazakh coins, the Khan Tengri peak in the Tian Shan Mountains and the wheat/barley illustration.
