Crack the Safe Competition


Tasked with attracting more visitors to Chestertons’ stand at various events, the Marketing team came up with a ‘crack the safe’ competition. Visitors to an event would be handed scratch cards, which they could then take to the stand, fill out their contact details and try their unique code number on the safe. If it opens they win a prize.
I needed to make the safe eye-catching enough to interest visitors in the first place. Sticking with a property theme, I based the design on a doll’s house and created posters and scratch cards to match. The safe was a success and has been used at many events, from local school fairs to Chestertons Polo in the Park. It helped to collect over 700 new contacts at its first event.
